Mrs. Emily Kobes teaches middle school geography, 6th grade language arts, and various electives at the Blaine campus at CCS. She graduated from Dordt College in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a specialization in Middle School Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.

Favorite thing about teaching at CCS:
Calvin has a wonderful community of staff, teachers, parents, and students. I love that we can come together and praise God with one voice as we learn about and respond to God’s creation.
Favorite learning activity:
I look forward to reading and discussing novels with students. At Calvin we get to share some wonderful literature together in Language Arts class. I love seeing a new adventure and story unfold before a student’s eyes.
