Love You Forever by Robert Munsch and Oh The Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss.

Favorite scripture verses:
Jeremiah 24:6-7: “My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back to this land. I will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them. I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.”

Favorite thing about working at CCS:
Most definitely the students!

Favorite learning activity:
7th grade language arts novel unit of Cast Two Shadows, which is followed by watching the movie Amazing Grace. Both are powerful stories that show God’s hands working in the lives of ordinary people taking a stand against slavery.

Favorite student quote:
“So this is what being smart feels like!”

Fun or fascinating facts:
My second greatest joy (aside from teaching) is being a mom to two amazing young men! I also really love growing green beans!
