Mr. Paul Clemens

Paul ClemensMr. Paul Clemens teaches 9th-12th grade mathematics at CCHS. He has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, and a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts.

Les Miserables by Victor Hugo.


Favorite scripture verse:

Jeremiah 9:23-24: “This is what the Lord says: ‘Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,’ declares the Lord.”


Favorite thing about working at CCS:

The thing I enjoy most about working at CCS is that I get to work with such a great faculty and staff. My colleagues are passionate about education, their particular fields, the students they get to work with, and their faith. It’s truly a blessing to be able to work alongside such extraordinary people.


Favorite learning activity:

I look forward to teaching the Unit Circle: The Limit Definition of the Derivative.

Fun or fascinating fact:

I have a long-term goal to play golf in all 50 states. So far I’ve played in 28!
